Inter-Library Loans
The Mount Holly Town Library recognizes the importance of providing materials to our patrons that may not be housed in our collection. We are happy to request materials from other libraries around the State. You can email the library (mthollylibrary@gmail.com) directly .
The patron must be in good standing to place an Inter-Library Loan (ILL) request through the Mount Holly Library. There is no charge for in-state ILL service, although donations for postage are always welcome.
There are a few exceptions to what we can obtain through the loan system. We cannot request magazines, oversize books or recently published items (6 months or less since publication). Some libraries do not loan CD’s or DVD’s.
Patron responsibility for lost or damaged items
Replacement costs: items not returned shall be billed to the patron as billed by the lending library. This may include processing costs as well as the replacement cost of the item.
Payment must be made for materials lost or damaged while checked out to the patron. No refunds will be made for lost and paid interlibrary loan materials that are subsequently found.
